Our process begins with our clients signature on their professional contract. Tax planning begins knowing the individual income tax laws of each State and applying them to our clients individual situation. With this knowledge we can properly plan the domicile of our clients and thus reduce their State income tax liability. The Internal Revenue Service collects the largest tax bite of all. Utilizing our years of experience, we begin at the very beginning of the year planning our clients affairs. We ask the question; How can we legally avoid paying tax? Maybe it is the establishment of a corporation, timing of charitable contributions or the managing of your investment portfolio in a tax oriented manner. DEC MANAGEMENT will plan your affairs so you pay the lowest possible tax. For over ten years we at DEC MANAGEMENT have advised and counseled college athletes for the NFL Draft. During this time, we have represented nearly 55 players who have been selected in the NFL Draft. Our sound and proven advice can make the difference between a player being selected as a second-day Draft choice or as a first-day Draft choice (top 3 rounds). Pre-season draft grades are assigned by the NFL in the spring before an athlete's senior season; players are rated again in the fall after their final seasons. These draft grades and rankings vary from scout to scout and from team to team. We have immediate access to these grades and ratings, as well as detailed Draft Reports on each player. This information, along with the knowledge of what the NFL Scouts look for at each position will help maximize a college athlete's status in the NFL Draft. Remember, a college player cannot hire an agent until he has played his final college game; in the meantime, however, college players are allowed to talk with and meet with agents.
